Looking for an easy way to expand your garden without breaking the budget? Cultivation is a great option here. In this example, we’ve used the Fairy Iris, but this practice will work on many flower varieties.

Watch for when your flowers are ready to seed. The pedals may look dry, brown, or even start to crack open. The seeds will look dry, and in this case dark brown. Once they are at this stage, simply pull the pedals apart to collect the seeds. Sprinkle the seeds across the garden, or plant in a pot and watch the growing process start all over again.
